Kpop Style Trend: Colored Circle Lenses

Circle lenses have been popular in Asia for a long time, but more and more lenses come in different colors rather than just enlarged irises. So let's take a look at the variety of colored lenses idols (girls & guys) wear. Almost every "odd" comeback this year has had someone with colored lenses in (e.g. 'I Got a Boy', 'Jeon Won Diary', 'Rum Pum Pum Pum', 'Baddest Female', 'What's Your Name', 'Breakdown', etc.)
These are not every circle lens sighting, but they cover many major groups.

Omg the circle lenses theyre using are so cool. To be honest, circle lenses can make you extra beautiful. :) agreed i liked the gold ones like the one krystal was using in rum pum pum pum. I wonder what lenses she was exactly wearing. I want one. Help?

My skin tone is like exo's kai's and my eyes are a mixed of gyuri and krystal's, what kind of circle lenses would suit me? Thank you!
DeleteOK, so I found another one that turns a little red in the light like Krystal's does-- Pinky Paradise: Vassen Cloud Nine Brown.
DeleteBecause you're tan, I would go with something hazel or green. It will really compliment your skin tone and (if you have dark hair) your hair. You could also try a violet to be a little daring. Here are some recs (from Pinky Paradise):
(1) G&G GBT Green-- really green! doesn't show a lot of natural color underneath
(2) EOS Bubble Green
(3) EOS Candy Green-- more subtle
(4) Vassen Bambi Queen Green-- nice variety of colors, looks cool
(5) G&G Gothic 3 Tone Green-- a little more subtle, cool fade towards the center
(6) G&G Blossom Green-- green/grey
(7) Seeshell Cosmo Violet--somewhat vibrant violet
(8) G&G Flower-i Green-- really cute, has flowers as the color
(9) G&G Natural 3 Tone Green-- light, natural gradient
(10) Vassen Butterfly Violet-- really vibrant violet
You can also go onto the Pinky Paradise website and search by color if you like. For colors that don't match your natural color closely, I like finding smaller pupil openings because with large ones, the iris underneath shows through, and it can look a little strange.

when i think of kpop and contacts i instantly think Taemin from the Juliette era cos it was the first time i noticed it in kpop! it was when i was still kinda new to it and for a millisecond i actually thought Taemin probably actually had blue eyes and thought 'whoa an asian has blue eyes?' but yeah...it was a thought i had for like a second 'til i realised it wasn't the case!!!
I understand the feeling/ Some of these I can't believe it's not their real color. I guess idols can really pull off anything ^.^!

ReplyDeleteI don't know the exact brand, but there are a lot of green ones at Pink Paradise. It looks like she has wider iris ones. You should go on the PP website and search by color. It's about personal taste, and what looks good on her may not look good on you and vice versa. If you have anything else you need help with, don't hesitate to ask :).
