Despite Jessica's departure from SM Entertainment altogether, her brand is still present in the company. Her sister Krystal in f(x) showed support for her sister's fashion line BLANC & ECLARE by wearing a cute white T-shirt with ruffle detail at the collar calledELAFONISSI in white. Buy here.
Krystal wore this at the 150824 SMTOWN the Stage onstage greeting.
Thank you for the tip Audrey!! :D

What an SM power team to do a magazine pictorial like this! Taemin, Kai, and Krystal got together to do a W Korea photo shoot for its August 2015 issue.
There are actually two parts/volumes to this photo spread (called "Daisy Illusive"), but I mixed them up in this post. I instantly liked these set of pictures because they look so cozy and dreamy. Without further ado, here are some finds: f(x)'s Krystal is wearing a ruffled neck silk shirt and sleeveless ruffled silk dress from Gucci's F/W 2015-16 Ready-To-Wear Collection.
EXO's Kai is wearing a camel turtleneck sweater also from Gucci's F/W 2015-16 Ready-To-Wear Collection. Buy here.
SHINee's Taemin is wearing the striped roll neck sweater from Saint Laurent Paris. Buy here.
Krystal is wearing a white flower embroidered knit top and embroidered denim shorts from Chanel'sF/W 2015-16 Ready-To-Wear Pre-collection.
With SM artists, you can always expect them to wear clothing in seasons that haven't come yet. It's not usual to catch them wearing things out of season.

2nd find in 1 day, I'm on fire ;) Seems like Krystal really likes this top as she has worn both the green and white version of this top. The white one is from the drama 'My Lovely Girl'. I wish I could get it but sadly it is out of stock now.

One of our supporters Alexander To messaged us with a fantastic "who wore it best" suggestion regarding eye patches that SM artists wore during their promotions. He recently noticed that Key wore an eye patch during SHINee's "Odd Eye" 150618 M Countdown Special Stage and it made him remember when f(x) wore eye patches during their "Red Light" promotional period. While eye patches do serve functional purposes, in this case the SM artists wore them to suit their concepts. In Key's case, the lyrics of "Odd Eye" talk about having eyes on someone and how he wants to see her eyes. As for f(x) it's telling a guy they're with in a confusing relationship to open his eyes wide. Whether it be because of how the eye patch looks itself, how it suits their faces, and/or for other reason(s), who do you think wore it best?
Personally, my favorites are Krystal and Key because of how intense their gazes are through one eye. The eye makeup is done well.
˛₍˴◅ˋ)੭✧ Shelley (I know we usually say "who wore it better" but since there are more than two nouns being compared it's "who wore it best". I hope this helps for those studying for their SATs or essay writing in general :P) Do not take without proper credit! Hey guys! Dropping in with this quick find. I'm still working on the face makeup post, hopefully that'll be coming up soon.
When I saw this jacket on f(x)'s Krystal at SMTOWN Taiwan on March 21st of this year, I went on a huge hunt for it.
The jacket is part of Hyein Seo's F/W 2014 collection. The jacket in the correct color is in the photo below. I can't find a place to buy it, so unfortunately it'll have to remain on my wishlist.
Disclaimer: Note to all that I am in no ways bashing/hating/dissing any of the idols that are to be mentioned. I am only keeping up with the professionalism as a fashion critique and I do not blame the fashion choices entirely on the idols themselves, nor on the fashion stylists. This will be based on my opinion, and if you disagree do feel free to express your views :) This is, after all, a 'Hot or Not' segment so it's all personal preference. :>
K-POP stars are known for their funky styles, addicting music and crazy fashion. This edition of Hot or Not I will be exploring the unforgivable, eccentric, and 'wtf' depths of cray cray hairdos. (because really, have you seen some of them hairstyles??)
I love all the idols and I respect their respective styles, albeit sometimes you just can't help but shake your head at some of their choices...*shakes head*
Now the term 'crazy', is really wide, ambiguous and debatable. There is good crazy (not really that crazy though) - idols usually sport flashy hair colours or a myriad of different ones, almost like a rainbow. (I'm looking at ya Sehun) Their hairstyles are pretty tamed and even some of them are a definite HOT.
Wait a minute I see a trend in this. Seriously SM.
These are just a few I can think off the top of my head. I actually really like Taehyun's center parting, but some fans beg to differ. And Taemin as much as I love your luscious hair, those extensions have to go XD
Then there is the tolerable crazy. Idols with weird and even laughable hairstyles/colours that make you feel torn between wanting to cry over how hot bae is and wanting to scream at bae for that hairdo 'cause baby nah uh, you needa leave before that braided hair braids into my eyes. (Kai anyone?)
Etc. etc...but you get the idea.
And now, presenting the final and most despicable of them all - brace yourselves and prepare for the onslaught of theabsolutely cray cray hairstyle that just boggles your mind out and have you blubbering because why, why in the world does a hairstyle like this even exist
(Sorry for the awkward placement of pictures...)
I actually feel sad for them :( Pity, pity.
We all know Sandara Park and G Dragon definitely win by a wide margin...I don't even need to put out every single one out there to prove my point. (Oh but good idea I might do that in a later post) And Block B seems to be catching up too. Everyone just wants the spotlight and a place on the 'Don't-Even-Go-There' list :)
Pictures are credited to their rightful owners. I do not own any of them.
Unfortunately there are way too many different links (and I can't remember all of them, sorry) so I cannot properly credit each individual picture to the owner. I will however credit the companies of each band.
So what do you guys think?
Which hairstyle do you think it Hot and which do you think is Not? Comment down below and feel free to disagree to anyone of them!
If you have more suggestions of other K-POP idols with weird hairstyles, do comment too! I might've missed out some significant ones ^^
Cheers!
Claire

I recognized one of f(x)'s Krystal's outfits in Dazed and Confused Magazine April 2015 issue. The fashion for her photoshoot overall was pretty spunky and wacky, much suited to f(x)'s image. I also thought Krystal's poses were rather strange but maybe that's what the magazine is about guessing from the name.
Her top and bottom are from pushBUTTON's S/S 2015 collection. Her sneakers are from Adidas called ZX Flux Shoes in Core Black (B23984). Buy here.

Each store has a different name for this design so I made up the term in the title but once you see the following images you'll know what I'm talking about. Square print shirts have been around for a bit but around last season and this season is when it became popular (To the nerds out there, yes some of the prints are technically rectangles). If you ask me, it's not a bad trend since it can be printed on anything. It really depends on the content of the square, like what it says or what it has an image of. Most importantly, it depends on how it fits with the rest of the outfit. This trend is on the print/graphics side, which some people don't consider as fashion. Warning: Image heavy Opening Ceremony was one of the first noticeable brands to have the square block design. A few days ago we posted on T-ara's Soyeon wearing Opening Ceremony with the block print. Many brands like to include text inside the blocks.
She also wore a T-shirt from Zara with the rectangle print.
We also posted f(x)'s Krystal wearing Arche with the same concept. I really like the black against the pale pink!
Arche's sub-brand Arche Reve came out with a bunch of square print designs. They took it to the next level and used glitter and/or sequins for their squares.
Just to further prove my point, while I was making this post one of my friends passed by and she graciously agreed to let me snap a picture of her. Doesn't she look so cool? She is definitely trendy.
The square print has also appeared on the back of shirts. Do you recognize this design?
It's from Nohant. We posted K-pop celebrities like Gikwang, Yunho, and Taeyong wearing this clever text design. I'd like to end the post with shiny (sorry not SHINee) and patterned squares from Starstyling because who doesn't like looking at their stuff. Enjoy the visuals!
