A Style for You for Vogue Girl

The hosts of fashion and lifestyle TV show A Style for You featured in Vogue Girl May 2015 issue. The four hosts are Super Junior's Heechul, KARA's Hara, SISTAR's Bora, and EXID's Hani. They are seen holding tape, signs, and posters with fashion-related text in every photo. In their interview, each of them talked about their own sense of beauty and fashion.

 Because there are many outfits for this shoot and there is a tag limit, they will be separated into different posts.

Get the Look: SNSD's 'Catch Me If You Can' MV

Hi everyone!

GG is finally back with 'Catch Me If You Can' and boy am I impressed by their dance moves! Very different to their previous songs such as Mr. Mr. where they showcased classy and sophisticated sexy, this song blows your mind with their slightly rough, slightly grimy (in a very, very good way), tough but still sexy aura and overall topping it off with grunge-ish outfits.

Digressing a bit, before I became a KWS writer I often peruse the articles of fashion finds and realised most of the finds are really expensive (think designer brands), and as a reader and avid K-fashion person I find myself wanting to imitate or get inspirations from my favourite K-pop idol (who doesn't want to look like GD, really)
But of course me and expensive don't necessarily go together, and I doubt it will for many out there. So that's when 'Get the Look' comes into play! And who doesn't love cheap but great quality clothing?

I tried to find the cute sweaters and sweatshirts Red Velvet wore but it's been pretty difficult. I think at least one piece is vintage, so it would be pretty hard to find a stock photo of a one-of-a-kind piece. G-Friend Shining Like a Glass Bead

 Usually I don't get into anything new (groups, songs, shows, you name it) unless there's a prior positive reaction so I know I'm not wasting my time. Which explains why I usually post finds a while after something comes out. Or maybe I just don't find out/keep up with things on time. There has been a lot of commotion over new girl group G-Friend who debuted with their song "Glass Bead". It was very catchy so I decided to take a look at their music video and live performances. Their choreography turned out to be well-done and neatly executed, you can tell they practiced hard for their debut.  Since the following photo is the first one their agency released, I'll post a find on it first. 

The shorts that all the G-Friend members are wearing are from American Apparel called Interlock Running Short in cranberry/white. You may buy them here, they're very affordable.
Stay tuned for more finds. I've never said this before on K-world Style because it happens to nearly everyone but I have a ton of homework so I'll post more on this group later.

I Swear I Didn't Mean to Post This Late

Shopping tip! Best clothing deals (at least in the U.S.) are after the holidays, not on Black Friday nor after that until Christmas. Today I was shopping around and made these finds by coincidence.

Fiestar + American Apparel

In their 140702 performance of "One More" at MBC Music Show Champion, the ladies of Fiestar wore various items from the brand, American Apparel. 
I don't know any of their names, so I will just provide a group image and the items worn. 

 A note: I think they cut the crop tops to be even shorter, because the hem looks a smidge uneven, & at least for the turtle-neck top, it hits a little higher than what the model looks like. However, this could just be because of sizing and whatnot. Another note, I believe the striped top and the mesh top are also from AA, because there are similar items for sale online, but I think they are just from the Korean version or a different season & so aren't being sold anymore.

Gotta Be Coming Back Home

2NE1 is switching things up with street and hip-hop brands. In their dance practice videos for "Gotta Be You" and "Come Back Home", I spotted them wearing other brands besides Jeremy Scott and Adidas. OMG! 

 From left to right (and alphabetically by name), Bom is wearing a Hood By Air long-sleeve tee called the BLUE X-RAY L/S T-SHIRT. You can cop one here. In their 'Come Back Home' MV, Minzy wore that brand. CL is wearing something from a new designer I will keep an eye out for. His name is Nasir Mazhar and the T-shirt she is wearing is from his Men's S/S 2014 collection. She also wore the same exact shirt at a Hong Kong airport not too long ago. Get the red version here. I like the bold, geometric, and colorblock patterns he incorporates in his collections. His designs remind me of KTZ.  Last is Dara. I just included her because her T-shirt is actually affordable. It's from American Apparel called the Unisex Helvetica Alphabet T-Shirt. From experience, that shirt goes on sale for $5 around once each year (at least for the online United States stores) if you want to wait and save money.
