On September 19, Acne Studios opened its first Korean flagship store in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul. Several big K-pop names such as G-Dragon attended the event.
 
Many of them wore the Cheongdam Sweatshirt, a light pink sweatshirt with two patches on the right chest - one has a blue and yellow geometric design with a face looking like this ･_･ and the other says, "Acne Studios Cheongdam".
Which idol do you think wore it best?

So as I was watching todays KBS A Song For You 4 with the guest INFINITE. I saw that the MC Gongchan from B1A4 was wearing a sweater that I have seen before. And the only site that does fashion reviews is us on Kworld Style. I want back a few pages and found it.

The sweater is from the Korean brand Used Future, the shirt is sold out. But, it can be bought as a t-shirt. Check the shop here.



A bonus the brand does not only have Super Broccoli, but also Super Corn and Super Sardines. All can be bought online here.

So I should have posted this with the other post but I was hunting round for this hat, longer than need be as I didn't recognise this brand until I had done my upcoming APink's Remember post.



Key's head falling off and being kicked was really weird. To be honest the whole MV was a bit off, I thought it was about a psycho Shawol or something haha~ Loved the song though!

Married to the Music Moschino

This brand always seems to be lurking around in SHINee's fashion so when I spotted the typical big bold logo with its signature quirky design, I instantly recognised it.

A "who wore it better" between two SM artists wearing the same outfits! Plus their stage names both start with a K and have three letters haha ^_^



Both EXO's Kai and SHINee's Key are wearing a crêpe satin shirt, grosgrain neck bow, and 70s stretch twill loose pant from Gucci's F/W 2015-16 Ready-To-Wear Collection. Kai wore the Gucci outfit in W Korea whereas Key wore it in Elle Korea.



 

Since one photo is in portrait (Kai) and the other is in landscape (Key), it's a struggle to edit them and still make it fair game. Here are the original photos for a better look:

Well...this is a long overdue post!
When I spotted this on the day I didn't have the time to write up a post, then when I did have time...I kind of forgot ^^;; Ooops!
But now I remember and have a couple of hours to spare before I can go to sleep, so here it is~

On 150510 after finishing up recording for an episode of KBS Hello Counsellor, SHINee's Key was seen wearing the Symbolic Animal Knit in the Tiger version by Japan based label- Little Sunny Bite. You can have a look at it over on the official website here where it's actually on sale! It's in Japanese though of course.


Fun fact- the model on the right here is Yagi Arisa, Key's "wife" in the Global edition of We Got Married. (Personally I really liked her, she was fun and seemed like someone I could be friends with haha) 
Also, the original picture used was upside down! I changed it so that it could be looked at better.
One more thing, Key is friends with Yoppy the designer of Little Sunny Bite.

One of our supporters Alexander To messaged us with a fantastic "who wore it best" suggestion regarding eye patches that SM artists wore during their promotions. He recently noticed that Key wore an eye patch during SHINee's "Odd Eye" 150618 M Countdown Special Stage and it made him remember when f(x) wore eye patches during their "Red Light" promotional period.


 
While eye patches do serve functional purposes, in this case the SM artists wore them to suit their concepts. In Key's case, the lyrics of "Odd Eye" talk about having eyes on someone and how he wants to see her eyes. As for f(x) it's telling a guy they're with in a confusing relationship to open his eyes wide. 

Whether it be because of how the eye patch looks itself, how it suits their faces, and/or for other reason(s), who do you think wore it best?

 
 
 
 
 
 

  
 
Personally, my favorites are Krystal and Key because of how intense their gazes are through one eye. The eye makeup is done well.

SHINee featured in the June 2015 issue of monthly entertainment magazine The Celebrity. Since the magazine is created by SM Entertainment, there is a large spread on them to promote them.

I'm back to squeeze in some finds amidst my hectic work schedule /le cries.


In SHINee's MV 'View', we have Onew in his 'Champion USA' raglan top by the brand Champion. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the exact item and buy-link although I have searched for more than 2 hours at every inch and corner of their online store. (I'll still link the site if you want to check out the other apparels)

Then we have Key's Girl Power Jersey Combo from VFILES SPORT PLUS S/S '15 collection. It comes in Navy-Red, Black-Yellow and Green-Black. You can get it here.

I actually immediately recognised this from Hyunseung's 'Ma First' MV. One of the backup dancers was wearing a similar 'Girl Power' print but on a hoodie instead. You can get this hoodie here.


Lastly we have Minho in a Large Logo Mens T Shirt (muscle tank in the MV- sleeves were probably cut by his stylist) by Franklin and Marshall. I can't seem to find one of the colour grey though (I might not have searched meticulously enough) so here's the one in the colour black. You can get it here.

Jonghyun is wearing the Curtis Mayfield tee and Taemin is wearing a plain grey tank.

A couple of K-pop fashion finds from SHINee's new MV, "View". What did you think of it?

Jonghyun is wearing the Original Vintage 1992 Guns N Roses Coma World Tour Shirt. Stylists cut off the sleeves to turn it into a muscle tee. The T-shirt is rare and vintage, so it is harder to find and will be on the pricier side. There are a couple for sale here and here.

First I need to thank Koko for this find. On her Krystal post here she included a link for her find, where I came across a jacket which I had seen being worn before...

Specifically, last month on the 23rd of April! 
At Incheon airport on the on their way to the 'Fashion Passion' event in Brazil, SHINee's Key was wearing the Hyein Seo Embroidered Lab Coat from the F/W 2014 collection. It is sold out but you can still take a look at it here.

On this day he also posted pictures of himself with f(x)'s Amber, who was also going to the event, on instagram. (My f(Shawol) heart~)
 

I only just realised as I went back to this picture but he hashtagged "Hyeinseo" ahaha!

Lastly, you can watch this cute little fancam taken that day where Onew and Key ran to their terminal as they were late from being too busy shopping, here.

I am only keeping up with the professionalism as a fashion critique and I do not blame the fashion choices entirely on the idols themselves, nor on the fashion stylists. This will be based on my opinion, and if you disagree do feel free to express your views :) This is, after all, a 'Hot or Not' segment so it's all personal preference. :>

K-POP stars are known for their funky styles, addicting music and crazy fashion. This edition of Hot or Not I will be exploring the unforgivable, eccentric, and 'wtf' depths of cray cray hairdos. (because really, have you seen some of them hairstyles??)

I love all the idols and I respect their respective styles, albeit sometimes you just can't help but shake your head at some of their choices...*shakes head*

Now the term 'crazy', is really wide, ambiguous and debatable. There is good crazy (not really that crazy though) - idols usually sport flashy hair colours or a myriad of different ones, almost like a rainbow. (I'm looking at ya Sehun) Their hairstyles are pretty tamed and even some of them are a definite HOT.


Wait a minute I see a trend in this. Seriously SM.



These are just a few I can think off the top of my head. I actually really like Taehyun's center parting, but some fans beg to differ. And Taemin as much as I love your luscious hair, those extensions have to go XD


Then there is the tolerable crazy. Idols with weird and even laughable hairstyles/colours that make you feel torn between wanting to cry over how hot bae is and wanting to scream at bae for that hairdo 'cause baby nah uh, you needa leave before that braided hair braids into my eyes. (Kai anyone?)


Etc. etc...but you get the idea.

And now, presenting the final and most despicable of them all - brace yourselves and prepare for the onslaught of the absolutely cray cray hairstyle that just boggles your mind out and have you blubbering because why, why in the world does a hairstyle like this even exist

I actually feel sad for them :( Pity, pity.

We all know Sandara Park and G Dragon definitely win by a wide margin...I don't even need to put out every single one out there to prove my point. (Oh but good idea I might do that in a later post) And Block B seems to be catching up too. Everyone just wants the spotlight and a place on the 'Don't-Even-Go-There' list :)
