Last month in August, Cosmopolitan Korea released photos and an interview of SNSD's Tiffany and SISTAR's Bora. This month, the magazine has released another batch of pictures. Let's see the awesome stuff this K-pop power duo is wearing!

Bora's blouse and skirt are from Miu Miu's Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear Collection. Couldn't find her top from the runway photos :/ Her shoes are Double-Buckle Mary Jane Pumps in light and dark blue from Prada.

Tiffany's embellished striped cotton dress is also from Miu Miu's Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear Collection, buy here. Her shoes are also Double-Buckle Mary Jane Pumps from Prada except in pink/geranium (buy here). She is holding a Fujifilm instax mini 8 Instant Film Camera in raspberry.

Tiffany's Pom Pom Crop Top is from MSGM. Her skirt is from Carven and shoes are from Jinny Kim.

Her crop top comes in another color scheme which you can check out by clicking on the picture below.

Bora's button up shirt is from pushBUTTON's A/W 2015 collection. Her
Mix Color Denim Pants are from Lucky Chouette, buy here. Shoes are Dr. Martens boots.

Half the stuff in this photo is sold out so I didn't want to edit this.

Bora's white long-sleeve top is from Happening and her 15SS Pocket Suspender Dress in navy is from Low Classic.

Tiffany's dress is also from Low Classic and the pink mohair jumper wrapped around her is from Bimba Y Lola.

If you need any info on the girls' jewelry, feel free to ask in the comments! It wasn't worth to me editing them into the photos :x

A bit overdue since this spread was featured in the July 2015 issue of Cosmopolitan Korea, but better late than never! (Plus I didn't see the photos until today :x)

Zico from Block B is wearing a Dégradé logo-print vest and Color Block Cotton Velour Shorts from Astrid Andersen's S/S 2015 collection. He is also wearing the Lion Black Medal Long Necklace from Versus and his sneakers are from Nike.

Paloalto's suit (jacket and pants) is from Alexis Mabille. Underneath is the Thrasher Neck Face T-shirt which is sold in a bunch of different places such as here. His necklace is from Chanel.

Verbal Jint's jacket is from Beyond Closet's F/W 2015 collection. Not sure if the runway photo on the right helps since the fur shawl/scarf is covering the jacket but you can see the same print on the pants.

SISTAR's Hyorin was interviewed by Cosmopolitan Magazine for its July 2015 issue about her group's upcoming comeback. She says the comeback song is youthful and vibrant - it will lift your mood and make you want to dance to it. She hopes that you'll enjoy the album over the summer. Look forward to the choreography as well!

Here Hyorin is wearing the Image String Bodysuit in sahara/black by Wolford and Silver-tone feather cuff from Isabel Marant's Spring 2015 Ready-to-Wear Fashion Show.

She is wearing hipster underwear over the bodysuit for modesty. You'll see what I mean (I recommend for 16+ readers' eyes) if you click here.

I couldn't find buylinks for any of the stuff she is wearing in this photo sorry... posted it so you can admire her beauty

SISTAR's Bora is featured in the same issue as yesterday's Sulli, which is the Cosmopolitan Magazine June 2015 issue. There is a similar summer beach theme where photos were taken of Bora on a boat and a scenic beach in Okinawa, Japan. May I say she looks lovely in them!

"Sensual Dream" - Bora shows off her legs in the One-Piece Dunes Swimsuit from La Perla, a luxury Italian women's clothing company specializing in lingerie. "La perla" means "the pearl" in Italian.

"Sweet Moment" - On the beach, she is posing in the Cleo Embroidered Cold-Shoulder Dress by Rebecca Minkoff.
Her sandals are from Nine West. The closest pair of sandals in terms of style I can find are these.

"So Natural" - At the bow of the boat again, Bora is wearing a crop top from Club Monaco.
Her Stripe Wide Pants are from Lucky Chouette and her 'Donddi-S' Ankle Strap Sandals are by Steven Madden.

f(x)'s Sulli flaunts herself in Cosmopolitan Magazine June 2015 issue. The theme of this shoot is lounging around on the beach in swimwear. Each photo was given a cute title by the magazine.

This one is called "Sunshine Love", where Sulli enjoys the sun in the water wearing the Tribal Geo Surf Shirt and Tabora Logo Bottom. She completes the look with the Formosa Statement Necklace. All three items are by Tory Burch.

In "Blue Attraction", she is wearing a Sierra Underwire Top under the Dream Catcher Swim Cover Up Caftan, with the Multi-Color Skinny Bangle Set on her wrist. These three items are also by Tory Burch.

For "Healing Time", the only clothing I am sure of is the Dream Catcher Caftan by Tory Burch. Since I can't see the bikini top or shorts too well, I'm not too sure what they exactly are except for the fact that they are from Tory Burch. My guesses are that Sulli is wearing the Dream Catcher Bikini Top and Pleated Shorts.

Lastly for "Sweet Holiday", she is wearing the Sonda Fold-Over Skirt/Dress Coverup accessorized with the Beatrix Collar Necklace.

You can tell by now that everything in this spread is by Tory Burch. The photo shoot is well-timed and well-suited for the upcoming summer months!

For the March 2014 edition of Cosmopolitan Korea, Lee Hyori went to the picturesque paradise, Bali for a pictorial. Much like Park Shin Hye's shoot for Elle, Lee Hyori was styled only in one brand. Everything was from the French brand, Zadig & Voltaire even right down to the scarves on the sofa (see below).

Let's get into the beautiful pictures.
To look this good while just lounging.

Zadig & Voltaire Reino Roses Deluxe Dress

Zadig & Voltaire heart print blouse, for about 200$ here.
Pamela Love for Zadig & Voltaire snake ring for about 250$ here.

Sadly, the last image.
Zadig & Voltaire Romane Biker Sandals

Also like Park Shin Hye pictorial, most items are not available in retailers online yet. Once we get a little more into the spring season, more things will pop up.

Cosmopolitan always delivers, for example, see Yuri's shoot.
How do you like Lee Hyori's pictorial?

More good looking people in the French brand, IRO. This time we have Yuri of SNSD posing for Cosmopolitan Korea November 2013. We have posted a commentary related to it here. For previous "Looking Good in IRO" go here and here as Krystal and Victoria awaits you.

Her full spread for Cosmopolitan is gorgeous, one of my favourite celebrity shoots in a while.
This time, her image is completely different from the sporty pictorial. Let's hope for more Yuri x Cosmopolitan pictorials in the future.
Oh hot damn.
The dress is obviously from IRO. This is the Oxford model, you can buy it here.
More images of the photo shoot because they are good.

Big Bang TOP - L’Officiel Hommes Magazine November Issue ‘13
TOP randomly in bed?...
I find the differences in magazine spreads interesting. Many of these differences depend on the targeted audiences of the magazines (women and men). Let's take a look at November's magazine spreads in order to examine if there are differences between femme and homme magazines, and how those differences matter.

Part I: Cosmopolitan Pictures
Clockwise, starting at top left: Lee Hyori, Lee Hyori, SNSD's Tiffany, SNSD's Yuri
Cosmopolitan's marketing strategy is obvious: "Sex Sells". But that does not mean that they are completely unreasonable. In fact, to me it seems Korean Cosmo is a lot more wholesome than American Cosmo. The girls are even dressed for the season; all of them sport long sleeves and tights, with the exception of Yuri, because we can't see what she's wearing. Tiffany barely looks sexualized at all; she's even, gasp, actually sitting on the chair. Obviously, Lee Hyori's undergarment-special is not an everyday look, but it fits her image as a thirty-something in the Korean entertainment industry, and I have a feeling she did not oppose to the image. I could be wrong, but Lee Hyori seems like the type of woman who sticks up for herself.  Having said all that, I don't understand the bed in Image Two, but I guess magazines in general have weird props.

Overall, I think it is clear that Cosmo likes to sexualize women, but it is not to the extreme that I feel uncomfortable looking at the images. I think all the girls look hot, and maybe it's a little post-feminist, but the girls look in control of their sexual prowess. I will say Yuri's image is a little too voyueristic for my taste, but the magazine does not seem as degrading as I expected it to be.

Part II: L’Officiel Hommes Pictures & How They Relate to Cosmo
All pictures feature Big Bang's TOP.
TOP is a sex object in a different way than the girls are in Cosmo. Instead of the reader scophophiliatically viewing him (like they do to the girls within the Cosmo images), TOP represents a fetishization of the classy, upper-class, man. Instead of looking at his body as the source of pleasure, we look at his clothes and demeanor. The neutral tones and masculine props (e.g. the leather chair, and faux-cigar flower) add to his image as a capable, idealized man. I'm not complaining. Call me a misandrist, but I like looking at TOP looking hot. His jawbones and suits entice me. I only wish he didn't look quite so condescending or supercilious in his poses; the arched eyebrows in Image One, the 'smoking' Image Two, the casual pose in Image Three, and the too-cool-for-school glasses in Image Four all add to a Mr. Darcy-esque mien.

I think for both magazines, the images represent a goal for the readers. The more women-focused Cosmopolitan, and the more men-focused, L'Offifiel Hommes, both have their targeted gender as the models. I think then that the poses and styles of the spreads are dictated by the gender's view of its worth: for women, it's in their body and sex appeal, for men it's in how they carry themselves. Both magazines show attractiveness, just through different ways. So it's not expected for a femme magazine and a homme magazine to have the same spreads.

Im cr. kmagazinelovers.tumblr.com,

BigBang's G Dragon had a photoshoot for Cosmopolitan magazine for a commercial in its July issue, and he shows just why he's known by many as a reigning fashionista. I love the hair colour he has in this shoot.

In the spread, he's wearing multiple items from Comme Des Garcon Homme Plus F/W 2014 collection such as the Rabbit Ears Leather Hat, and a lilac version of one of it's blazers, all of which are not available for sale yet.

He can also be seen wearing Kenzo's Eyes Doubleface Coat in Noir, form their upcoming F/W 2014 collection.
His shoes are from Thom Browne's S/S 2013 collection. No available buylink.

What do you think of this shoot?
