Hi everyone!
Been long since I posted, and I figured since I did a Get the Look: SNSD's 'Catch Me If You Can', I should do one for SNSD's new hit, 'Party'. Unlike CMIYC, 'Party' portrays different members with their different style of clothing, so I can't generalise their whole concept into a single outfit; rather, I've picked a couple of pieces that are similar to what SNSD wore in this teaser image below.

Summer is here for everyone to enjoy, and while unlucky people like me living in Australia, we have to survive the cold, barren winter. Brr. But for all y'all lucky people, 'tis the great time to be partying outside in the beach, and what more than to take out all your beach gears and have fun with all your mates!

This style is really easy, and as long as you have a simple white lace/crochet top, pair it with a pair of denim shorts, you're good to go! Or you can pick out your favourite white bikini, or you can choose to stay protected from the sun (remember your sunscreen lotion!) with a pretty white lacy dress. Lace/crochet is great to wear as it's relatively light-weight and flowy, so it won't get you perspiring under the sweltering sun.

Nonetheless, whatever your selection is, I've got it covered for you!

If you aren't a fan of lace/crochet patterns, no worries! Just wear your favourite white top and a pair of denim shorts, and maybe bump up your style by accessorising!

Stacking up 'em 'arm candies' (bracelet/wristlets) and layering necklaces can give you a fun look too.

If you are lazy (like me) to find different bracelets to stack, just buy a set of bracelets instead! And if you don't like the feeling of multiple necklaces around your neck (it does get chunky and heavy and possibly suffocating after a while), take my advice and get a tiered necklace, not only does it look good, it lessens the load :)

Hi everyone!

GG is finally back with 'Catch Me If You Can' and boy am I impressed by their dance moves! Very different to their previous songs such as Mr. Mr. where they showcased classy and sophisticated sexy, this song blows your mind with their slightly rough, slightly grimy (in a very, very good way), tough but still sexy aura and overall topping it off with grunge-ish outfits.

Digressing a bit, before I became a KWS writer I often peruse the articles of fashion finds and realised most of the finds are really expensive (think designer brands), and as a reader and avid K-fashion person I find myself wanting to imitate or get inspirations from my favourite K-pop idol (who doesn't want to look like GD, really)
But of course me and expensive don't necessarily go together, and I doubt it will for many out there. So that's when 'Get the Look' comes into play! And who doesn't love cheap but great quality clothing?

The "Heirs" is becoming one of the most popular dramas in Korea. I've only watched the first few episodes, but this is what I've figured out. The show focuses on a bunch of Korean teens who look strangely like adults who all attend a special ~~college~~ high school. Thus, I'm imagining something along the lines of "Gossip Girl", where the characters dress is modified uniforms, and the rich kids show their money through accessories. Note the rounder heels to show a little bit of youth.

This show is super cute and features a large family business and a blind woman. I'm picturing the incarnation of "That Winter, the Wind Blows" wearing sun glasses and being very classy. Think pastels and pencil skirts. This drama had one of the best styles I've seen this year.

Honorable mention: Gu Family Book. I hope you could get that this drama incarnated as a person would be wearing a hanbok. Probably an innocently colored top layer with a warmer, more passionate color underneath. I'm picturing a lime paired with a maroon.

Another post for DramaFever, sorry for the late of updates on K-world Style, but I already promised this article. So after these sentences will be directly what I wrote for Drama Fever. I hope you like it.
"Get the look of the luckiest girl from the soon to be most beloved drama of 2013 (Heirs)! The highly anticipated drama features a star studded cast including Lee Min Ho, Kim Woo Bin, Kang Min Hyuk and Park Hyung Sik. Isn't Park Shin Hye/Cha Eun Sung a lucky girl? As much as we want to, we can't be in her position. Luckily, we can dress like her! Even though it is only like in the drama.

Let's start with Cha Eun Sung's princess style in one of the group posters for Heirs. Her dress stands out from the rest as her's has 3/4 sleeves and is very lacy and princess-link. She has on a tiara, a white lace dress with a skinny belt, and some nude pumps

Next up is Park Shin Hye's casual style in one of her individual posters. She wears a light denim jacket with a white tee (showing its hemline), with a pair of dark jeans. The perfect casual style for any event (well, other than professional ones). These are all staples most people have in their closets; this look is easily achievable.

A while ago, I agreed to do posts for Dramafever about kfashion. I was very late on that with school and what not. I finally finished the post and here it is. I took inspiration from a comment from a lovely reader Ashley Gonzalez about kpop inspired outfits for back to school. Sadly, I didn't finish the post fast enough for the back to school time frame. Now it is just possible outfits for school. I hope you like it and check out Dramafever News!

So here it is!

Crayon Pop

How to adapt one of the hottest song of 2013, Bar Bar Bar's distinictive style to something wearable for school.

Crayon Pop's outfits are very athletic - polo shirts, tennis skirts, tennis shoes, track pants and helmets and it fits with their song perfectly. You can go full out Bar Bar Bar style (with bright-colored tracksuits and helmet) when you have P.E class.

Starting from the head. Wearing a helmet to school may be safe, but not very practical. That clunky thing blocks your vision everywhere and isn't very stylish. Instead of Crayon Pop's signature helmet, substitute it with chunky headphones, a headband, a snapback, or a beanie in the winter with the same red and white colour scheme.

Not many people wants to wear a skirt over pants. Instead, try a peplum top with skinny jeans. Or a basic red tee with a white skirt. If you don't want to wear white after Labour Day, try beige or an off white. With the skirt, you can pair it with leggings, tights, or mid to high knee socks. Crayon Pop's shoes are tennis shoes. If you have a pair, great, wear them if you want. You can also wear a pair of white Converse or any flat white or red shoes.

Here's just some ideas for a Crayon Pop's Bar Bar Bar inspired outfit for school. Don't copy it exactly, just showing some ways you can coordinate your outfit and some white and red themed items that can go along with it. Many of these types of pieces you probably already have in your wardrobe. Go ahead and mix them up however you want it.

Lee Soon Shin (KBS's You're the Best, Lee Soon Shin)

Lee Soon Shin's style is easier to adapt for school. In fact, her casual style is perfect for school. These are the basic set of posters provided by KBS for You're the Best Lee Soon Shin and probably the most famous outfits she wears.

The mustard yellow sweater is a great piece to transition from fall to winter. For cool days, you can pair it with a the same navy-colored blue polka dot skirt and maybe some tights. For colder days, layer the sweater over a tank and some jeans. Moving past the chillier days, IU's coral/light pink and white dress is ideal for spring time. As she pairs with navy heels, try something flats or a studier heel for convenience.
