Nohant Sweatshirt and W Concept Review

After posting so much on Korean clothing brands, I had the opportunity to order from us.wconcept.com and check out a piece of Korean brand clothing myself. The following will be a review on the website's customer service and how the sweatshirt is.

Countless K-pop idols have worn this Love City design by the brand Nohant (Gikwang, Yunho, and Taeyong to mention a few).

I ordered the Nohant Love City Seoul Sweatshirt in gray (this one). If you sign up at http://us.wconcept.com, you receive a 30% off coupon which is what I did. The order took about two and a half weeks to arrive which is what I expected due to the delay mentioned in the item description. For me, there were no issues ordering from them. The box came in pristine.

 
The tissue paper in the package shows a touch of professionalism.


 

 

Even though there are models wearing pictures of the item on the website, I wanted to see how it fit on the average non-model person. It was pleasant to find out that the sweatshirt was true to size for an American (Many times, a size large in East and Southeast Asia is a size small in the U.S.). 
I am 5 feet 4.5 inches / 164cm tall and an American size small. I ordered the medium and it was pretty roomy, check out the photos for yourself:


 
 

  I like this sweatshirt because it is a timeless classic-looking piece where fashion snobs won't go, "That's so old, it came out like 10 seasons ago." The font and color are classy, yet not distinct enough for the general population to outright know you are crazy about K-pop (unless you want everyone to know).

It's perfect for a casual autumn day outside, going to class, or just lounging around. My pictures had to be taken indoors because it was snowing heavily outside and was like 14°F / -10°C at the time.

The material is on the heavier side, not super thick but definitely not thin. The print seems to be sturdy and doesn't look like it will peel off anytime soon.

The only thing that surprised me which the website did not tell you was that the inside is not fleece but rather woven cotton. For someone with sensitive skin like me, I find it to be itchy and scratchy. However, that can be solved by wearing another layer underneath such as a T-shirt. This particular sweatshirt was not too bad, but if the material were any rougher I probably would not wear it often myself. Reader PunkyPrincess92 tried this sweatshirt on and doesn't mind it so it really depends on your preference. In fact, she loves it!

Kpop Fashion Trend: Square Print Shirts

Each store has a different name for this design so I made up the term in the title but once you see the following images you'll know what I'm talking about. Square print shirts have been around for a bit but around last season and this season is when it became popular (To the nerds out there, yes some of the prints are technically rectangles). If you ask me, it's not a bad trend since it can be printed on anything. It really depends on the content of the square, like what it says or what it has an image of. Most importantly, it depends on how it fits with the rest of the outfit. This trend is on the print/graphics side, which some people don't consider as fashion.

  Opening Ceremony was one of the first noticeable brands to have the square block design. A few days ago we posted on T-ara's Soyeon wearing Opening Ceremony with the block print. Many brands like to include text inside the blocks.
 
 

She also wore a T-shirt from Zara with the rectangle print.
 

 
 
 
We also posted f(x)'s Krystal wearing Arche with the same concept. I really like the black against the pale pink!
 

 Arche's sub-brand Arche Reve came out with a bunch of square print designs. They took it to the next level and used glitter and/or sequins for their squares.
 

 

Just to further prove my point, while I was making this post one of my friends passed by and she graciously agreed to let me snap a picture of her. Doesn't she look so cool? She is definitely trendy.

 

The square print has also appeared on the back of shirts. Do you recognize this design?

I was looking at the preview for Exo's new show EXO 90: 2014 and I spotted this guy whom I thought looked really good. Turns out he's one of the SMRookies team and his name is Taeyong.

In the preview, he can be seen wearing the Love City Seoul Sleeveless from Nohant.

Fashionable As Always

Is it just me or someone else find the word that Taemin says at 0:27 in their recent MV 'Breaking News' really funny...hope I'm not the only one  (if you wish to know what they wore in the MV click here and here)

Today we have some recent SHINee airport finds, more exactly from July 26 .

SHINee's Key wore a cardigan from PushButton's FW 2013 collection.

Jonghyun wore the Green Shortsleeved tshirt from Nohant.

The sleeves are a big large that's why Jonghyun rolled them up.

The colour may seem a bit different but that's because of the different lightning

Request: Hyuna, Sohyun, Gayoon

This is a request from anonymous, so many anonymous requests huh?

This is regarding a t-shirt that Hyuna, Gayoon and Sohyun has worn backstage of Inkigayo on 130429.

As you can see the tee plays on the letter 'N' to 'V' so instead of 'Lonely', it is 'Lovely'.

The shirt is by a Korean brand, Nohant. They call it Mesh Tshirts White, available for 78 000 Won here.
