Nephy actually owns the same exact dress, which is how she knew where Solar's dress is from. So satisfying when you own a piece of clothing that you recognize an idol wearing, isn't it?

Get the Look: SNSD's 'Party'

Hi everyone! 
Been long since I posted, and I figured since I did a Get the Look: SNSD's 'Catch Me If You Can', I should do one for SNSD's new hit, 'Party'. Unlike CMIYC, 'Party' portrays different members with their different style of clothing, so I can't generalise their whole concept into a single outfit; rather, I've picked a couple of pieces that are similar to what SNSD wore in this teaser image below.
 

Summer is here for everyone to enjoy, and while unlucky people like me living in Australia, we have to survive the cold, barren winter. Brr. But for all y'all lucky people, 'tis the great time to be partying outside in the beach, and what more than to take out all your beach gears and have fun with all your mates!

This style is really easy, and as long as you have a simple white lace/crochet top, pair it with a pair of denim shorts, you're good to go! Or you can pick out your favourite white bikini, or you can choose to stay protected from the sun (remember your sunscreen lotion!) with a pretty white lacy dress. Lace/crochet is great to wear as it's relatively light-weight and flowy, so it won't get you perspiring under the sweltering sun.

Nonetheless, whatever your selection is, I've got it covered for you!

If you aren't a fan of lace/crochet patterns, no worries! Just wear your favourite white top and a pair of denim shorts, and maybe bump up your style by accessorising! 

Stacking up 'em 'arm candies' (bracelet/wristlets) and layering necklaces can give you a fun look too.
 
If you are lazy (like me) to find different bracelets to stack, just buy a set of bracelets instead! And if you don't like the feeling of multiple necklaces around your neck (it does get chunky and heavy and possibly suffocating after a while), take my advice and get a tiered necklace, not only does it look good, it lessens the load :)

Get the Look: SNSD's 'Catch Me If You Can' MV

Hi everyone!

GG is finally back with 'Catch Me If You Can' and boy am I impressed by their dance moves! Very different to their previous songs such as Mr. Mr. where they showcased classy and sophisticated sexy, this song blows your mind with their slightly rough, slightly grimy (in a very, very good way), tough but still sexy aura and overall topping it off with grunge-ish outfits.

Digressing a bit, before I became a KWS writer I often peruse the articles of fashion finds and realised most of the finds are really expensive (think designer brands), and as a reader and avid K-fashion person I find myself wanting to imitate or get inspirations from my favourite K-pop idol (who doesn't want to look like GD, really)
But of course me and expensive don't necessarily go together, and I doubt it will for many out there. So that's when 'Get the Look' comes into play! And who doesn't love cheap but great quality clothing?

Everyday Is So Colorful

My friend ordered Girl's Day's "Everyday 4" mini album since it was on sale and it arrived yesterday. I was flipping through it (the pictures are sooo bright and colorful, gives off the perfect vibe of summer) and recognized these following finds. Since their title track "Darling" came out awhile ago, almost everything is sold out.

Hyeri is wearing the Pastel Colored Crop Biker Jacket from Stylenanda in mint and the Nirvana Cropped Muscle Tank from Forever 21 underneath (which was only $14 but alas sold out). The only working buylink in this post is for the jacket here. Hyoyeon wore the same jacket in pink.

Park Ji Yoon for Nylon

 A really late find. These finds are actually from a picture off Park Ji Yoon's Nylon July spread (the same issue that we published finds of Key, that yes were also late).

She was wearing the Handmade Curve Line Skirt (Pink) from Low Classic's F/W 2014 collection



She paired it with two Layered Chain Bracelets and a Heathered Mickey Mouse Tee from Forever 21.The shoes in the frame are the Rochas Embellished Metallic Leather Slingbacks.

Nyam Nyam Hamburger Hamburger

Ever have those moments when you try hard to remember something it doesn't work, but when you're not thinking too much about it, it just comes to you? That sort of just happened to me when I made these finds, what is life?! At first, I deliberately searched up, "Hamburger Tank" and "Number Leggings" with no success. Days later I decided to shop for myself on Forever 21. Minding my own business scrolling, my eyes skimmed over the Fun Hamburger Muscle Tee for only $12.80. Le gasp! Where have I seen those before? Ah, in newly debuted hip group duo called Lip Service comprised of BiPa (from Houston, Texas actually) and Cora with their debut song, 'Yum Yum Yum'. Those four extra girls in the music video are backup dancers. Once I found those, I thought that other clothing in the music video might be from Forever 21 and I was right! 

 I came across the Studded Mix Media Leggings for just $13.80. Anything else? I decided to take my chances on Lip Service's cute robes...   

 JACKPOT. They're Queen of Hearts Satin Robe in cream/red for just $19.80. I like to check out rookie groups for fresh fashion and their potential in the K-pop industry. Sometimes the fashion for more established groups is too predictable (*cough* 2NE1 and Jeremy Scott *cough*). The other day I was talking to Maria about Lip Service and mentioned how annoying the chorus was, but I'm afraid it's growing on me D: The message of the song is not typical. It's about dieting, contrary to the usual lyrics about being in love or partying. What are your thoughts on this new duo and/or song?

Tips on Dal Shabet's B.B.B (1)

After their 2013 comeback with Be Ambitious, Dal Shabet started off 2014 with their song B.B.B (Big Baby Baby) and with upgraded sensuality.  From their newest music video, our lovely reader, Yuan Han provided us with many tips. What a great assortment of clothes, she was really thorough and totally nailed it. Thank you! First member is Woohee.

Both items are from Forever 21, the Geo Craze set. They are very affordable at $10.80 for the leggings and $8.80 the crop top.


Next up is member Ahyoung. 

From the box scene, she wears a modified version of Forever 21's Mod Houndstooth Midi Dress. It is also affordable at $17.80 here.

In another scene with posing and bold texts, Ahyoung wears a dress by the Korean brand, pushBUTTON. Not available online as it is from their F/W 2012 collection.

Krystal's Skirt on the Golden Disk Red Carpet was Cheap?

I think this is the skirt. It can be, might not be. Someone confirm it?

The date of 140116 was a big night in kpop as it was the night of the 28th Golden Disk Awards. Often, people generalized the Golden Disk Awards as the Korean version of a Grammy. For such a big night, many of the biggest kpop acts gathered and walked the red carpet. One of our favourite girl groups, f(x) walked the carpet with 4/5 members (no Sulli) and received the award for Disk Bonsang. 

Now for the title…Typically, stars wear expensive things on the red carpet. The bigger the event and the bigger the star, the more expensive their clothes are. However, this isn't applying here.

The price of Krystal's skirt is $19.80. It is the Forever 21 Dynamite Asymmetrical Mini Skirt.

Not a bad thing, just strange. It looks the same to me, unless that is not the skirt. If it's not, please correct me. I just find this so strange. f(x) has recognition for being fashionable, I cannot fathom that not a single brand was willing to sponsor them for such a big event.

This is not a bad thing. I'm not trying to make it bigger than it seems. Just a bit puzzling. Too used to seeing f(x) wearing these designer names for small events and casual wear.

Not a Miniskirt

The 7 also 8 or is it 7.5 member girl group AOA (Ace of Angels) has released their MV, Miniskirt. With this title, you would think, they'd be only wearing miniskirts. Nope, in the music video, there were dresses, shorts, pencil skirts and not a lot of miniskirts.

As you can see above, member Choa was not wearing a miniskirt. I couldn't find the shorts but I found the top. It was cheap and marked down even cheaper!

Under the jacket she was wearing a see-through t-shirt from H&M (no buy-link) but I saw it in store.
